Summer officially begins today……….let’s hope the weather gods are paying attention to the calendar. I’m pleased to report that there were no epic windstorms last weekend, as we’ve become accustomed to this season. But it did blow enough all weekend (except for the headscratching floater Saturday morning) to mess with the racing schedule for everyone who is not in the E Fleet. All I can say is………C’est la vie.

THE NEXT YACHT CLUB PARTY……..is this Saturday, June 23 at the Yacht Club, starting around 6:30 p.m.  X Boat Parents, C’s and E’s get to bring the hors d’oeuvres.  And, remember, the only adult beverages we can have at the Club are beer and wine……..C’est la vie.

CLYCSS Registration UPDATE:

We are Adding a “Beginner / Intermediate” sailing school class, next week.
Monday, June 25 – Wednesday, June 27
8:30-12:30 (3 days)
$100.00 registration fee
This is not on our website, so please email the sailing school to get registered.

Also we originally set up our Intermediate and Racer program(s) in two week increments, but if that doesn’t work, please let us know and we will work with you, on the weeks that work for you. DAD/MOM/LAD/LASS MAKEUP RACE DATE………..is TBD.  Last Sunday’s  high winds messed up this race, too.  The PRO decided that, while it’s always fun to chuckle at parents screwing up on the tiller, it’s not as fun to risk life and limb in 30 mph gusts. We’ll let you know when the makeup race will be, hopefully in the next few weeks.
