Surf Ballroom,  built in 1933 and attracted the best bands and entertainment of its day until falling victim to fire in 1947.  By 1948 it had been rebuilt across the street where it is located today

Bayside Amusement Park,  was an attraction not to be missed on a visit to Clear Lake.  Most people came via the ferryboat "Princess" which made hourly runs from the White Pier at the foot of Main street.
Bayside Amusement Park,  At varying times the park had attractions ranging from wild animals exhibits, to a skating rink, dance hall, and roller coaster. 
Bayside Amusement Park,  The roller coaster was extensively damaged in the August 1931 cyclone but was rebuilt and operated until its demolition in 1958.
