This summer we will celebrate the 75^th anniversary of the Clear Lake Yacht Club.  It offers an opportunity to look back with gratitude to the many, many volunteers who have spent untold hours to make this club what it is today:  a nationally recognized sailing club featuring excellent competitive sailing for local races and large regattas. 

Each summer we look forward to the camaraderie fostered by our warm, friendly social activities which reunite old friends and welcome new ones.  We are fortunate to have an active Sailing School which has successfully mentored sailing skills to several generations of youth (and adults).  The waters of Clear Lake represent a resource we all value.  Thankfully, many Clear Lake Yacht Club members have been actively involved in efforts to preserve this beautiful playground we all enjoy.

This year we are planning several events to celebrate our 75^th anniversary.  During this time we should reflect on the work done by those members who went before us.  We thank those who founded and built this Club into the wonderful organization it is today.

We look forward to a fun year on and off the water.  I wish you fair winds and safe sailing.
